Hey guys! I started stretching my ears a bit ago, and I'm at a 2 now. I'm considering going to a 00g or so, just cause i've heard they won't go back completely or whatever. I've heard so many different opinions though that I don't know what is right anymore. XD

I know everyone's body heals differently... but say i went to a 00g or a 1/2", would I be able to go back down to say...a 14g if i downsize it properly?

Also, I just got some Vitamin E-Oil for my earlobes. when do i put this on? Do I put it on before/after/during/ shower? Do I wash it off? do I put it on everyday? XD

I want to stretch them properly. Any other tips would be helpful! thanks so much!

and here are some pictures of mah LOBESCollapse )

I'm currently at 2's.
I tried to gauge from a 4 to a 0 (I understand it was stupid) and kinda hurt my ear a bit, so I let it close up a bit and now they're both caught up.

I think I gauged way too quickly, in my opinion. I'm really lucky I never truly hurt myself.

I love this size but I feel they need to be BIGGER. 0g or 00g is the biggest I'm going.

Hullo! I'm Ms. Bee, and new here.

I've been stretching my ears for over a year now, and I've stopped around at 00s. I also dabble in clay, and one day I got bored and made myself some plugs with some molding clay, and they hold up well. I can't quite make tapers well, but short or long plugs are grand. I'm able to make a variety of colours and designs, including swirls, designs on both sides (reversibles? oh my!), and alot of other cute things. glitter is fun to use too.
now, my question is this: I'm still just learning, but these are already very cute and all my friends want them. does anyone think it'd be a profitable thing if I made custom plugs? would you guys buy them, theoretically?

I'm not trying to spam, and I'm sorry and I'll delete this if I am, but... feedback would be peachy and I'd definately value all your opinions, including prices. I can't find plugs for much less than 15-20$, but I thought 10 or so would be fair, per pair.

what do ya think? I might try taking pictures, and maybe trying a website, or just in town. sound square?

My name's Cai.  I started gauging about...oh...a year and a half ago.

I wear 2's.

My brand of choice is morbid metals, although I find stainless steel far too heavy for me.

Ciao!

I recently ordered a pair of acrylic spirals. Here is a picture:

My question about these is kind of dumb, but I haven't been able to figure it out: Are you supposed to put them in from the front or the back? Meaning, is the spirally part supposed to be behind your ear, and the end sticking out front, or the other way around? I think I have seen people wearing them both ways, so I am somewhat confused. Is it just a personal preference?

Subject:8g issues
Posted by:jenny101.
Time:11:48 pm.
Mood: blah.
oh deary me...

Once upon a time I stretched my 10g holes to an 8g. The 10g's were stainless steel rings and the 8g's are plastic pinchers from hot topic.

Conflict? This would be that the left hole is flaking skin around the outside and is looking mildly irritated. The right hole is fine and is not as tender. I have been using peroxide to clean them.

Question?...What can I do to prevent my left ear from further irritation?

I appreciate your help.

A few days ago I noticed something around my 2g tunnel. I look closer and it's a pimple? It's like so random. Do you guys know what I can do to get rid of it?? Thanks in advance.

Subject:Hi I am new to this community and to ear gauges.
Posted by:ex_laura_oka677.
Time:4:24 am.
Yesterday I got my ears pierced to an 8 gauge. The person at the shop I go to (pretty much the only one I could ever trust in RI, mostly because I have been going there for a long time and also because they are so knowledgeable and sterile) told me this would be the easiest way to start out. I want to keep them at a fairly small gauge because I need a basic first job before I get a fancier job that will allow me to have them (when I say fancy I mean either a fairly alternative clothing or art/craft supplies store...eventually I want to work at a salon or something artsy that will hopefully allow them too, but that is after I graduate either college or beauty school)but I do have a few questions about ear gauging that I was hoping you guys could answer.
1. What are your experiences with employment in regards to your ear gauges?
2. What is the biggest gauge you think I could pull off while still being able to have a job with a strict policy on body modifications?
3. How exactly do gauge sizes work? I'd really like someone to explain this to me as I haven't quite figured it out. The bigger the number the smaller the gauge is right?
4. How big can you get without pretty much always having slits in your ears if you eventually decide you don't want them anymore?
Thanks for all your help.
-Laura.
Oh and feel free to add me if you wish. Just comment in my friend's only post if you are going to do so.

Subject:just a bunch of questions in need of answers :)

Mood: tired.
hey.

im new here and judging from all the HOT pictures ive seen, my holes are nothing. so i have a few questions about stretching before i go higher than 14:

1) how long do you have to have one size in until moving to the mext size up?

2) which ones are best to use?

3) how long does it take the holes to grow in when you take them out?

4) do i really have to buy all the sizes or can i use straws and still be ok?

PS: i plan on going up to 8 or 6. the end

have a lovely day
